Let's talk about Death | 4th July
Sunday 2pm-4.30pm. Living with the end in mind.
Service Description
'Death twitches my ear. 'Live' he says 'I am coming' Virgil. Do you ever feel like you live in a death denying society? Do you crave an opportunity to discuss death with like minded people? Join us for this relaxed afternoon in a beautiful natural setting, to talk all things death and dying. Jane is a funeral celebrant and soul midwife in training, who has worked in end of life care since the late 1990's. Over the course of an afternoon, tea and cake and a campfire (weather permitting) we will explore various subjects, such as what to say to someone who is dying, how we would like to be remembered and our legacy, de-cluttering to planning our own ceremonies at end of life among many others. We will have some gentle movement to ground us, reflections, silence and chat. Come as you are, no preparation needed, just an open mind and willingness to be present. This is not a grief workshop and so is not suitable for those who have recently lost someone they love. If you are unsure whether it is right for you, drop us a line and Jane will be happy to offer guidance.
